- Why should I have Elite Transmission Specialists repair my transmission?

- Is your free transmission diagnostics really free?
Yes, it really is free! After setting up an appointment to bring in your vehicle, we will inspect your vehicle for free. We will take it on a road test to feel how your vehicle is shifting and driving, scan it with our top-of-the-line computer for transmission codes, and check the fluid levels. This will enable us to determine if there is internal damage to your transmission, the source of the problems your vehicle is experiencing, and the extent of the damage. All of this is completely free to our customers, and you are free to take your vehicle with you afterwards, or leave it with us to complete the repair.

- How long should it take to have my transmission fluid changed?
The estimated time for a fluid change service is an hour and a half. This allows us time to perform both a road test and a free computer scan. (A $75 Value) We then raise the car in the air to perform a pan inspection, drain the old fluid, service the filter, replace the pan gasket, and refill the transmission with new Dextron transmission fluid. You get all this for only $7.77!

- Does Elite Transmission Specialists offer rental cars?
Yes! We can assist in obtaining a rental car while your vehicle is in the shop.
- If my transmission needs major work do you overhaul it or replace it with one from a salvage yard?
We rebuild your transmission rather than replace it. This ensures the work was done correctly and enables us to provide our comprehensive parts and labor warranty. We use new oem parts.

- Why don’t you give prices for transmission repairs over the phone?
All vehicles and all transmissions operate differently. It is hard to give a price quote for a vehicle that our technicians have not inspected, driven, or tested. We don’t always replace every part inside of the transmission; your vehicle may only need one or two parts, which can be a very low repair cost. Or, your transmission could need all new hard parts, or it could need all new soft parts. We need to physically inspect your transmission to determine which parts are damaged, where the source of the problem is, and the overall condition of your transmission. Over the phone, we would just be guessing, which is not fair to you the customer. We are always honest and open to our customers, and want to give you the best diagnosis possible of your vehicle. Therefore, we ask you bring your vehicle to our shop so we can perform a FREE inspection of it.
- What are soft parts, and what are hard parts?
Soft parts include items such as the rings, seals, clutches, bushings, filter and gasket. Hard parts include items such as pumps, planetary gears, drums, transmission case, chains and electrical components.
